Kibbitz & Konnect is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members of the Atlanta Jewish singles community. By participating in our events or using our digital platforms, you agree to the following:

  • Respect and Inclusion: Treat all members, hosts, and venue staff with dignity and respect. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or hateful language based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, or religious practice.
  • Consent and Boundaries: Respect the personal boundaries of others. This includes physical space and the right to decline conversation or sharing contact information.
  • Authenticity: We are a community built on genuine connection. Please be honest and authentic in your interactions and registration details.
  • Responsible Socializing: If alcohol is served at an event, we expect members to drink responsibly. Illegal substance use is strictly prohibited at all Kibbitz & Konnect gatherings.
  • No Solicitation: Our events are for social connection. Please refrain from using our gatherings or member lists for aggressive business solicitation or spamming.
  • Reporting Misconduct: If you feel uncomfortable or witness behavior that violates this code, please speak with an event organizer immediately or contact us via our website.
  • Consequences: Kibbitz & Konnect reserves the right to remove any individual from an event or ban them from future programs, without a refund, if they fail to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
  1. Third-Party Venue & Liability Disclaimer

By registering for and attending a Kibbitz & Konnect event, you acknowledge and agree to the following regarding our host venues:

  • Independent Venues: Kibbitz & Konnect organizes events at third-party locations (e.g., Mutation Brewing Company, Baraonda Ristorante, Basil’s Restaurant, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall), synagogues, or private residences). These venues are independent entities not owned or operated by Kibbitz & Konnect.
  • Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks related to your attendance, including but not limited to physical injury, illness (such as foodborne illness or transmissible diseases), or loss/damage of personal property occurring on the venue’s premises.
  • Release of Liability: You hereby release and hold harmless Kibbitz & Konnect, Inc., its officers, and volunteers from any claims or causes of action arising from the actions, omissions, or negligence of the third-party venue, its staff, or other event attendees.
  • Venue Policies: While attending our events, you agree to abide by all specific rules, safety regulations, and security policies established by the host venue.
  • Alcohol Responsibility: If an event is held at a venue serving alcohol, you are solely responsible for your own consumption. Kibbitz & Konnect is not liable for any injury or accident resulting from your or another guest’s alcohol consumption at or after the event.
  • Third-Party Privacy: When visiting a venue’s website or using their onsite services (like guest Wi-Fi), your data is subject to that venue’s own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies directly as we have no control over their data practices.

We may use third-party platforms (such as EventbriteTock, or Stripe) to manage event registrations and process payments.

  • Data Collection: When you register for an event, you provide information (like your name, email, and credit card details) directly to these third-party services.
  • Third-Party Policies: These platforms have their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review them, as Kibbitz & Konnect does not control and is not responsible for how these third parties handle your data.
  • Financial Information: Kibbitz & Konnect does not store your full credit card numbers or bank account details on our own servers; all financial transactions are encrypted and handled by our secure payment processors.
